Meelie helps you generate personalized meal ideas based on your preferences, budget, nutrition goals, allergies, and profile settings.
Meelie does not require account creation, login, or registration. Most of your app data (such as saved meals, profiles, favorites, and preferences) is stored on your device. If you delete the app, your locally stored app data is also deleted from your device.
When you use the meal generation feature, the details you provide (for example: meal preferences, allergies, nutrition targets, and selected profile information) are sent to our AI provider, Google Gemini, through Google/Firebase services, so a meal plan can be generated. We use this data only to provide the requested meal-generation functionality.
Meelie uses analytics tools provided by Google Firebase to help us understand app performance and improve the user experience (for example, whether onboarding is completed, paywall flow usage, and meal generation events). This analytics data is used for product improvement and is not sold to advertisers.
Meelie does not require your name, phone number, home address, or account password to use the app.
Subscriptions and purchases are handled securely through Apple's In-App Purchase system. We do not collect or store your full credit card or billing details. Payment information is managed by Apple.
If you allow notifications, Meelie may send reminders related to your trial/subscription timing. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
Because much of your app data is stored locally on your device, you control how long it is kept. Deleting the app removes local app data from your device.
Meelie is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be posted in the app or on our website with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of Meelie means you accept the updated policy.
